A small number of earlier dream intakes could show their questions and answers slightly out of sequence, which sometimes led the analyst to open by repeating a question you had just answered. Every saved conversation now replays in the order it happened.
When you type a dream on a phone, the bottom navigation now steps out of the way while the keyboard is up, and the page no longer jumps when you move between fields. This now works in Firefox and Chrome on iOS as well as Safari.
When the analyst offers to interpret your dream mid-conversation, the Interpret control is now a proper button that is large enough to tap comfortably on a phone.
Dreams rarely arrive alone. From Patterns, Premium members can now choose 3 to 20 interpreted dreams and receive a series reading: how the first dream frames the arc, how the symbols evolve along the way, and where the story seems to be heading. Saved readings stay in Patterns so you can return to them as the series grows.
Umbra now reads each new dream in the light of your journal. On Premium, when a new dream echoes earlier ones, the interpretation says so, pointing back to specific past dreams by title and date instead of treating every night as a blank page.
The single-dream interpretation now works harder before it speaks. It weighs what your dream may be compensating for in waking life, one of Jung's central ideas, and draws on a richer well of source material. Readings are longer and more grounded on every plan, including the no-account demo at /try.
Share cards now carry a row of pantheon emblems and a night wheel showing the real positions of the planets on the night you dreamed. Every card becomes a small record of its sky.

You can now turn lines from an interpretation into an elegant card: preview it live, swap or edit the lines, download it as an image, or copy a link. Sharing is off by default, and the dream itself never leaves your journal. Only the lines you choose appear on the card.

Umbra now has a blog: clear, Jungian guides to what recurring dream symbols actually mean, from being chased to snakes to teeth falling out. It's grounded in real analytical psychology, not a dream dictionary. You'll find it in the site footer and under Settings.

If you record dreams by voice on Safari, your words now come through cleanly and in order.
